Good to hear, I have the SO air powered pressure tester and I LOVE that thing, but Im looking to fill my "coolant related ****" drawer in my toolbox.

Worth the hype or what? It seems we do alot of coolant work in burst, waterpumps, radiators, etc etc and of course burping them can sometime ****.

I gave the IR gun back to my Matco man I was so disapointed with it, It only came with the 2 small batts, plus I have SO's 1/2 impact that uses the same batts as the 8810, so I was able to save some coin by just ordering the body and using the batteries and charger I already have. Got a stronger...

Compact. the 8810 ripped off some lugs we tourqed to 145ftlbs, with an 3/8ths to 1/2 adapter and a deep 22mm socket, so who knows how much tourqe we lost running the adapter but it had zero issues doing it.

Current model. the Iqv20v or whatever.

I had the IR 20v 3/8ths gun and it wouldnt break caliper bolts loose for the life of it..... however the 8810 is a whole another story

My local SO guy said he has had 1 take a **** so far, same issue as posted here. Asked me how mine was doing and so far so good.

I use the Autocrafts 1/2in deep impact sockets Daily at a busy tire/lube shop for the last year with zero issues at all. I actually recommend all the new kids in the shop to go buy the set, for under $30 it's a steal.

Wow. Our new kid at the shop has the SAME impact and it does 90% of the cars that roll through the door. We are a high volume lube/tire shop and its used hard day and day out, and to be 100% honest, it's lasted a lot longer than I thought. We all have 3/8s hose with PLENTY of air to back it up.

I have Autocrafts that are stamped/engraved and love me but need to fill the odd sizes they don't make. My shop is 2 blocks from the ocean so anything with laser engraving wears so fast it's not even worth it. I have a set of CP shallow impacts I'd almost give away because I can't see the sizes...
