Need Some Rental (temporary) Lighting Advice

105w cfl bulbs. About 11" tall but put out a good bit of light. I ordered some from Amazon. Here are 3 in my 24 x 36 x 12 shop. There are two up by the door and one back by the mess. Going to run 8 total but put the three up till I get time to finish them. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using...

    Ridgid Warranty

I'm a PPO as well. I get ticked all the time about that stuff too. I got some cut pieces of new boiler tube yesterday. 3ft each. Just thrown in the dumpster. There was a push cart my buddy got a couple days ago out of the dumpster. I can only assume it was there because of the sticky castor...

I'd like to keep some Helicoils on hand. Which sizes for automotive?

I keep 1/4 20 and 5/16 18 on hand as we race karts and they are a common size. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

    outdoor wood furnace

Look at the gasification boilers too. I looked into them since I'm in a residential area. Clean burning but couldn't offset the cost vs what I was going to heat Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

    Costs of building???

Ill have $10500 in my 24x36 12' high. With electric, 6" 4000 psi concrete, walk door, 18x10 insulated door and lights. By time its said and done complete finished inside I'll be in it $12000. The only labor I payed was the concrete and that was $650. So I figure it'd be another $6-7000 labor...

Do beginner auto mechanics need a cordless drill?

My 1/4" hex impact is awesome. Will tighten the lugs on my f250 about perfect. Not even turn with my breaker bar. Great for brakes and unit bearings. Use it all the time on my racing kart too. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

    24x36 pole building

Now for pics. Got the back metal and other side on and got the garage door framed out last night. Will be an 18 x 10 door. Do you all think I should put another 2 x6 on each side of the stud walls? Seems ok right now but not sure when the door weight is on there. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD...

A little info I learned about lowes

I've noticed exactly the same thing. On a good note though the cheap porter cable stuff will take a beating. Almost done building my garage with mostly my porter cable stuff. They do keep a pretty decent selection for the weekender diy guy though which I agree is there main market. Sent from...

    24x36 pole building

Got the back wall and other side wall on. Put some leftover bubble in the front truss and have a tarp over the opening. 120000 btu torpedo heater got it from 32 to 51 inside. Built one wall for the garage door frame out. Will have to post pics tomorrow. Tried to beat the dark out side so no...

    Disposable Welder.

I'd personally use thicker material. Like 1/8 wall or so. A lot easier to learn and much stronger. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

    Red Wing boots = Experience

My redwing dealer who is also a family friend said the worx line and few others are made in China. The 4470 is still a us made boot. Much better quality. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

    Red Wing boots = Experience

I have worn the sole out of 4 pair of 1123 over 6 years. which is the non steel toe version. I drag my feet bad. I'm on my second pair of 4470. I work at a power plant and they see coal, oil, limestone, gypsum, ash and a number of other things. Hold up great. I also recommend buying the better...

    Yardmachines

More then likely made by Mtd. Probably has a Mtd brand engine instead of a Briggs or Kohler. The troy bilts usually have briggs and cubs Kohler. But I would say pumps, hydraulics and such are the same. Sold and worked on cub/troybilt spiltters for a few years. Only real problem I saw out of...

    24x36 pole building

No it didn't fit but the concrete guy had a long chute. I'm still planning with the boards. Open to ideas. I don't plan on back filling and landscaping till the spring. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

    24x36 pole building

Yea its 2x6 tongue and groove treated. I'm going to put some sort of sealing paint on it. Then put a drain system around the bottom. Fill the sides with mostly creek stone. Put a thin layer of dirt just to plant the grass. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

    24x36 pole building

They did bow very slightly in the middle. But I think they were like that when I go the them. We checked square before we set the trusses and everything checked good. There were a couple trusses that warped before I got all the roof perlins up but we worked around it so I think well be ok...
