    I have expansive clay soil. That's what I thought. In my area when the soil expands it is also less dense and things sink a bit (as opposed to being lifted by the expansion). A super-big problem when your houise is so old the foundation was poured without rebar....

    Chuck slippage as a feature, kinda like how my skil 77 slips when the blade is mounted correctly : ) I try not use drills like these unless I can lock the long handle (yours didn't have) against a stud or wall. That's not always possible....
