    Do I need?

You not thinking big enough if there is no room in the current box you buy another box for just threading tools, and then proceed to fill it. If you are going to go into debt buying tools you have to do it right.

Suggestions for a portable tool box

You're deduction is correct it is a KRA 59c. How much bigger is the KR59 from the KRA59c then. I was under the impression they just changed the model numbers over the years but it was the same overall dimensions.

Why is Snap-On going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point

Re: Why is Snap-On is going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point Took a look at the ten year stock price SO has been doing very well, another reason to buy SO based on their history they aren't going anywhere and will be able to take care of you as long as you are willing to pay the price...

    mertic tools

Get a set of SAE nothing huge just a simple 10 piece wrenches at least there will be a time you need to fix air lines or something besides a metric car. Also sometime do to corrosion a smaller sae size may be desirable. I would suggest 1/4" and 5/16" sockets because a lot AM installers will use...

Mag Lite Pro+ (my new go to light)

First time in a longtime I would consider the mag light as a purchasing option. Don't get me wrong I still have a few, but I reach for the poly stinger 100 percent of the time if I have it on me, carry the mag light as a backup. I like the price point too, all around win if it can can as many...

I work in telematics the cost of doing this is very prohibitive(i sell cams for taxis), can be done not likely though. There is likely just a recorder on the truck.

Suggestions for a portable tool box

Empty weighs less than 50 by my gut feeling loaded I'm pushing between 125-175 depending on how much stuff is in it. I could load it to 300 but then I couldn't move it myself. I store a lot of electrical testing equipment, plastic pryers for interior, and I don't have tools on top of tools like...

Why is Snap-On going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point

Re: Why is Snap-On is going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point I have this same view when it comes to production in Europe. In the long run I hope SO starts making more tools overseas, with their US standards. The trade off would be the cost of SO worldwide can become the same/similar...

Why is Snap-On going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point

Re: Why is Snap-On is going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point Grizzo, I would like to formerly invite you to the Snap-on owners club, we are all crotchety f*ckers drunk on the koolaid, who spend too much money to a company that only likes us because we learned to stop moaning about...

On the Hunt for a 1/4 13mm swivel socket

SO may have finally pulled their head out of their *** and released mid depth 1/4" in more sizes than 10mm. i doubt this to be true though. I have the full SO set it puts Matco's and CM's offerings to shame. Look at SO 1/4" super shallow set, 11mm drop through ratchet design, while you are on...

Why is Snap-On going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point

Re: Why is Snap-On is going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point Quit your bitching, I have the same wrench no complainants except it rusts(spots) easier than my other SO tools for some reason and I live in arid AZ so I don't oil my tools ever. Judge a tool for a tool not were it is made...

Stolen Snappy Truck in Houston 180K in Tools

Part of me says too bad the other says hope they come to AZ, even though I know the law. Seriously though that was not that much in tools for a company like SO to loose to theft, must have been a small truck.

I don't believe the seller didn't mean the arrangement to look like a shlong, I was already aware of using titis to sell anything. Go check out a Finnish Beer commercial.

Scored a used chair need some info

I checked and it uses the shims. When I ran my fingers behind the pivot and sure enough a little sliver of what appeared to be Bakelite fell out. If the chair was not riveted I would take it apart and install new shims. For a dollar though I can't complain. Thank you everyone for their response.

Scored a used chair need some info

THe chair is able to recline back using a spring and has a ball screw to adjust the height. When in the normal seated position there is side to side play. Is this just symptomatic of the style of chair or can it be tightened up.

Suggestions for a portable tool box

Forgot about the 520 wish I bought one instead of the red craftsmen. There is also 4 and 5 drawer versions of many 3 drawers. If you are in set on this size(base width x depth) the additional drawers don't add much more weight even when filled with tools.

    Who makes this tool box?

Was the dead horse supposed to be a pun since it is likely a derby box by consensus.
