    Bosch RH540M Parts problem

I bought a none working RH540M Hammer Drill from Bosch. It was a non working drill and I thought that I could repair it. It hummed but would not turn. I pretty much assumed it was a bad armature. Here is where the nightmare start. I ordered a new armature on line. Said it fit my drill...

    Heating up the garage?

I'm with you on this one. Just as soon as I hit the big money....... I'll do it all over again and do it right. Maybe even put a "hot tube and shower" in there to clean up after work.

    Heating up the garage?

You are probably right about needing a 60,000 BTU for the application if you want it to be nice and warm. I'm just trying to keep a workable attmoshire (some what comfortable) while I work in the garage. 30,000 will do that.

    Heating up the garage?

When you first start up the unit, you will need to prime the heater. I didn't fully prime mine and when it started it puffed smoke and smell. I shut it off immediately called SunFire and got a great response from them as to what to do. Since then I haven't needed to push the primer switch. I...

    Heating up the garage?

Now that you've said that............... I have a pole barn too and that needed some heat too. I've been using a large torpedo heater to keep some of the area that I work in warm. Or at least a little warm. Since I can't take it with me, I went ahead and bought a SunFire 120,000 BTU radiant...

    Heating up the garage?

The MAXX heater is the way to go if you have the Gas line, Electric line and a Venting system. I had one when I lived in Indiana. When we moved back, I built a home West of Milwaukee. It was our first time doing so. I made so many mistakes by not having things added during the build...

    Heating up the garage?

Yup, I've seen the moisture problem big time in the past. Especially, when it is real cold outside. Tools almost drip with moisture on them. I built a small room in my pole barn to work in. Heating that space up really showed the moisture.

    Heating up the garage?

Some very interesting comments. Never thought that I would see this many. Thanks all for your inputs. I've been testing that 30,000 Btu in the garage with the cars in. No quick easy way to heat it up that way. So, I used one of those LP heaters that look like a stove. They put out a lot of...

    Heating up the garage?

That's an interesting point of view. However, I don't think I'll try that route. But, If I were to have been driving and returning. Park the car and turn the heater on and start working soon. Hummm!

    Heating up the garage?

Sounds logical. Those cars would absorb more heat then the air. Got it. Would not bring in cold cars and then heat up the garage.

    Heating up the garage?

Here is question that has bothered my for some time. When heating up a three car garage, is it better to do so with the cars in or out. Not talking abou any dangers here. Simply is it going to heat quicker with two cars in place or quicker with the cars removed. I have a 30,000 Mr. Heater...

    Dishwasher drain question - heat

I am surprised that no one has mentioned "The Air Gap" Recently I had a plumber come in to clean out the drain. He mentioned that I had the dishwater hose connected directly to the garbage disposal and not to the "air gap". I didn't know what he was talking about. But in Wisconsin by code...

    Lift for Pick up hitch

Mikegt4, I knew what I wanted to order but since it wasn't available (unless I wanted to pay $2700} I got a little impatient. Then I thought to myself----- You won't be doing thing until Spring, so why not just wait. Order cancelled. I'm glad.

    Lift for Pick up hitch

And one more added crazy. I cancelled my order and will wait until Spring to deal with it. Over night the temp's dropped. When they deliver it is suppose to be in the single teen's for temp's and snow. I forgot how heavy these things are and how difficult it can be to get a truck here and have...
