I have some coupons in a Hot Rod magazine I'd like to use but I don't want to cut up the magazine. Can I just take it to the store with me? Or will they still make me cut it up? I'm hoping they can just scan the coupons and leave the magazine intact.

Something else nobody has yet mentioned about flux core is it's about 3 to 4x the price of regular wire. That could probably eat up the savings of not using gas. I have only used flux core a few times and wasn't real happy with the results.

I do some intense welding/fab projects that may last for a few days or weeks, then I may go for weeks...

Anti sieze is ok for bolt threads, but needs to be kept away from the rubber parts. It is petroleum based and can deteriorate the rubber slide boots and other rubber components. Synthetic brake grease is made to be compatible with the rubber parts. I have always had good luck using it.
