Wow, looks like it's been a while since an update lol. Nothing major to report. Need continuing to clean/organize. Got an outdoor wood boiler installed this summer, so I have a hydronic heater in there now.
Some misc. signs and such on the walls now.
That's all the pictures I can track...
You just need a stronger polish, or yes, wetsanding before polishing is an option as well.
If the drawers aren't as bad as the lid, then I bet polishing alone will make a monster improvement.
Honestly, I would save yourself the time and effort and skip working by hand. There is a lot of oxidation on there, as evidenced by the change your buddies made and the "pinkish" color changing to red after polishing, and removing it by hand will likely be an exercise in frustration.
Grab that...
I spy a Cyclo also, the only American made polisher in the industry.
I know a thing or two about detailing, if you have questions, let me know. ;)
If you know where I can find one to print, that would be perfect. As I mentioned, mine went through the laundry.
The free ones are limit one per day, and I'm not driving 40 minutes to the closest store for a free $3 tarp.
So I had few coupons in my pocket...and they went through the wash. Can anyone help me out?
Blue tarps were $2.99
Purple spray gun was $9.99
4"x36" belt/disc sander for $49.99
Thanks guys!
