I like the compact design, as with all battery operated tools I often find them under powered. Anyone using one care to give us a review?

FWIW, I used one every day while in the Air Force. They were great for putting up aircraft panels, which could number in the 100's of screws. So useful on the F-4 that we had a belt holder and had them on our hip all day.

ATC, thanks to an inattentive Sears employee I own 4 pairs of the Knipex 10-inch cutting pliers. They had the C-man and the Knipex both marked for $16.99 ea. Manager wasn't happy when he had to override the supposed to be price on four pair of the Knipex. Early Xmas shopping..

Hard to find is right. I just rebuilt my neighbors transmission in his BMW Z3 Roadster. The transmission bell housing is all external torx bolts. He did find an E11 someplace on the internet.

IMO, one of the best penetrating oils available. I used this alot in the aviation field. I use it all over my vehicles for rusted fasteners.:thumbup:

NAPA's batteries are now made my Deka. We used these in everything while working on the North Slope of Alaska. Most batteries were wrapped with a battery blanket to keep them from freezing. These batteries were very reliable even at temps below -55F I just put one in my truck as the AC Delco...

I picked up a set yesterday. Very robust construction, handles fit in my hand well. The three different length bars will provide a wide range of usage. Possibly one of my top tool purchases considering price and quality. Made in America, with lifetime warranty, it doesn't get any better. IMO...

take it apart and clean it up. Inspect the brushes, they're held in by little copper springs and some kind of clip. Look for arching, or lack of carbon brush material. You should be able to order replacement brushes form Dewalt. Hope it helps.

Fully agree! It's damn sad unfortunately more will fall if the economy doesn't pick-up. Hootbro, you mentioned you used your C-man stuff in aviation. I did too, 31-years and very little issues with any of my tools.
