    Electric Impact Wrench

Don't overlook the Milwaukee 18-volt fuel line. Brushless motors, excellent battery life, and most powerful in their respective class. My 3/8" impact will loosen the wheel nuts on my 3/4- ton truck. Lots of power in a compact package. Love those tools.

    Jumper cables

You want to use the largest gauge wire you can find. The resistance in larger wire is less than in smaller wire. Resistance decreases, current increases giving you more amperage to start the disabled vehicle.

cool little trick with sk ratchets

Most of my hand tools are of the SK brand. They are over 20-years old and used everyday in the aviation field. A few ratchet rebuilds and that's all the.issues I have.had. They are outstanding tools and rarely get much attention from the masses. I also use some Cornwell, which I also like.

    Impact driver losing power

Same issue with my Milwaukee 18- volt , 1/2" impact. New brushes fixed her up. If your batteries are good along with serviceable brushes suspect the motor.

    How to straighten brake line?

I'm with Scott on this one. The real concern is that is doesn't chaff against another part or the frame and the manufactured like doesn't leak. If the answer is no to both questions call it done.

    Oxy-Acetylene torch / Blue Wrench

One of the must have tools, especially if you live in the rust belt. I have a medium duty Victor set-up and it's great. I agree; if you have the room get the larger tanks, you will be happy you did.

    Selling his life away....

If I can't talk to the owner of the tools, see them ALL for myself there is no way I would buy. Sounds very odd to say the least. I guess there is a chance it's legit, who knows.

If you do automotive wiring repair, this new tool might be handy.

One of the key issues in soldering is the wire prep. Strip both pieces of wire about 1/4" or so, more if need be. You want to create a "mechanical connection" before adding the flux and solder. Lacing the wires together works well, twisting them together is good. The goal here is to make a good...

Gas powered chainsaw recommendation? (diy, homeowner)

Agree with staying away from the business end. I have used this machine numerous times and it's not to be messed with. It doesn't know the difference between feet, hands, dead cats and the like.

    Impressed with Knipex

I purchase a pair of 10" diagonal cutting pliers years ago, the next day ordered all my pliers from Knipex. I have worked these tools for the last 10-years and they are still in perfect condition. I scored my Hazet ratchets when I was stationed in Germany. They rock too! IMO, you will be hard...
