    A 9v battery with 2 jumper leads to 85 and 86 allow the relay to be tested out of the truck also. That kit is pretty sweet though! I use the same one daily.

    Terminal Test Kit

    We've got all that in our training program minus the pre-assembled terminals on the wires. Sounds like I'll be just fine making some myself and seeing how it goes. Worst case scenario, I waste about $5 in materials and an hour of time messing with this project.

    In my training I have access to bags and bags of the different terminals. I don't see why I couldn't make my own. We have the OTC kit (very nice) and a kit from jumperkits.com which literally looks like something I could make in an hour.

    Has anyone here made their own terminal test kit? I don't see why I should spend almost $300 on an OTC terminal test kit when I can just make my own. If so, post pictures and/or tips of your homemade kits?

    Simple Green - thought this was pretty cool

    I believe this is correct. I use that stuff for almost everything. It's great stuff! I have heard stories of it staining white grout if you use it undiluted. Not sure if those stories are true though.

    I think he is saying that his spark plug socket's walls are too wide and he needs a thin wall spark plug socket. Buy a thin wall deep socket of the proper size and push some hose in it.
