Is this overpriced? Hein-Werner 1.5 ton jack

May look almost new, but does it work like almost new? Looks like the repair kit runs about $50.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Here are a couple of mine. The 5" Craftsman was a gift from my uncle when I bought my house. The green 4" job I picked up the yesterday. No name on it, just V20 & V21 cast into the jaws and V22 under the base. Never seen one like it before. Works smooth and doesn't seem to have been abused.

    Vintage Ignition Parts Cabinet

Looks like I might have the uppers for that cabinet. Free from a buddy at work who likes to give me the "junk" that clutters up his shop. If you want to save the logo, you could try using masking film.

WD-40 gallon size drain pan. Beats having to work around the 5 gallon pan. Free from the trash at work and it has a built in spout.

snap on s80 not made in america??

If I remember correctly, back in 2008, Snap-On was sourcing the ratchet gears in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" sizes from Rockford Products in Rockford, Illinois. Cold forged on National headers that were installed in the early 60's. Couldn't tell you what series wrenches they went in though.

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

My ex and her boys named her Mad Eye Moody. I wasn't too fond of the name so I shorted it to Moobert or just Moo. She seems to like it.

Here's my Saint Bernard sidekick Moobert. She'll be 5 in October. She loves the garage until the sparks start to fly.

Delta Rockwell three bank drill press

Thanks for the info. The end that appears to be cut off actually has holes in it to mount a matching table to it. I found out earlier that it used to belong to this guys deceased father. I'm kind of curious to see what effect sentimental value has on pricing, but then again he is a business man...

Delta Rockwell three bank drill press

I found a table that I would like to get for doing welding and such. I just don't know what would be a reasonable offer to make on it. It is approximately 5' long and 2' deep. No drill heads just the table. It has some miles on it and has spent the last two years in the elements. Suggestions are...

    Hello From Screw City Illinois

I've been lurking on here for a bit. Thought it would be a good idea to finally say hello. I'm in the slow process turning my two car garage into something functional. Well, at least more organized. Got a lot of good ideas from people on here. Especially the guys working out of one cars and...
