If your mainly using it to store things out of the weather could you build a 3 sided building? My 40x60 was getting extremely cramped until I built a 48wx32d open front shed to back trailers, camper, skid loader, ect under. Now I have tons of room in my shop and don't feel cramped anymore.

Dewalt 60v skill saw, I was skeptical but it really does have the power of a corded unit.

Haha! Just ordered a blue point from my snapon guy for $280. The Snapon was $640. I hope it should be plenty good for my use.

I'm good with $200-$300, I just don't use one enough to shell out snapon money for one. Schumacher doesn't have great reviews on amazon.

If the house is far enough away you could rent it out instead of tearing it down. This is what I did and it's working great. But its also on the other side of my 7acres and has it's own driveway so I don't ever have to deal with renters living right next to me..

so you have a 16x2 beam spanning 28ft with 8x2 floor joists running 10ft back to the wall? If that's the case I would want two 16x2 beams nailed together. or a center support.
