    Framing problem

    Small screwups as a building goes up compound themselves as the building progresses. Your stress level will go sky high as you get further toward completion and things really start fitting bad. By that time the framing crew will be long gone with your money.

    Lost a drain plug out of the jet ski quite a distance away from home on the lake. I picked out a water logged tree limb about the right diameter. Broke it off at about 3" and gently screwed it into the hole. It lasted the rest of the day.

    Need help with roof framing!!!

    One time I was building a 30X40 barn. Instead of my wife and I trying to hold up the ridge and tie in the rafters I built my own trusses. I popped a template on the concrete driveway with a chalk box. I cut out the rafters and used small plywood scraps to make my own gussets.
