    Repainting a painted floor

Hello, I have a painted floor on a solid concrete floor now. There is no peeling or chipping. The floor paint is estimated to be 5 years old. There is no shine left in the paint. The paint has a flat sheen. My only complaint is that i am getting staining that is becoming harder to remove. Today...

    Overkill for garage door insulation?

terribly messy garage but you can see the basics of the door. Top row has a panel missing so you can see the "dead air" gap. I think most of the other panels have smaller strips and more dead air space. For the best fit, just cut strips for the perimeter of the panel. I used some spray glue to...

I used the foam core with the foil backed face. i first installed the outer panel with the foil facing the outside. They I cut a few strips to make up a "dead air space" Then I cut a section to fit with the foil facing the inside of the garage. I get the benefit of the extra lighting on the...

I paid 400 for the install. That included electrical, installation and vacume down the system. I could have paid 50 just to have the system sucked down. Ok install, I would have done better but I am too **** and slow. I just paid it and had it done.

    We be chillin in TX

I paid 800 for the unit. I think the same would work for you well in AUS. The guy that sells them is on craigslist dallas. I got mine for less because mine was the unit that has hung on the wall for example. I have used it for 1 day and it seems to work well.

    We be chillin in TX

I had 2 guys install my AC system today. It is a no name 18000 (1.5 ton) system. Seems to cool off the 440 sq. ft garage fast. 220 v and 18 seer. Seems to work quite well. Very quiet and smooth. For the brutal winters here in TX it also has electric heat.

    blown in insulation

A quick and easy "fix" for overblowing the insulation onto the eves is this: Grab your leaf blower and blow backwards ( from the outside) through the soffit vent. I did just that and then actually took one off to be sure it worked...... it does. 00
