Cheap St. Louis Pneumatic Die Grinders...5 hours left...

I received my three grinders awhile back. When I opened the box of one of them I noticed the safety lever on the throttle was broken. I emailed Mark Kahn to see if he could help. He contacted St. Louis Pneumatic and they said no problem. They offered to send out the part but as I live very close...

    Recommendations for Supplied Air Respirator

Take a look at www.turbineproducts.com and their breathe-cool fresh air systems. I Have not yet purchased one but plan to in the future. I also wear glasses and would recommend the hood that DWin mentions in his post. Some don't care for them as feel they are not "durable". I will tell you I...

    steal on a mini DA

Guilty as charged  I was not having a great week so when they refunded my money that was one less thing I had to worry about. In hindsight, I was a bit more charitable than I should have been.

    Computer In The Garage.

I wanted a computer in the garage (under house) but didn't want anything too big. I ended up getting an Acer Chromebox. About the size of a ROKU or Apple TV box. Boots in about 5 seconds. Have it strapped to the back of an old flat panel monitor with wireless keyboard/mouse combo. I have a...

QuickJack - for those of you wondering

Eddie, Like your setup. Can you tell me the total height of the lift with the adapter in place? I wanted to get one of these to lift my 65 Corvair but the QuickJack pads would not hit the jack points. Your adapter looks to have solved that problem. Thanks for posting! Bill Brown

ultrasonic cleaners for rebuilding carbs, etc

I just got done cleaning all four carbs from my Corvair with my ultrasonic. I have a older lab quality model with a 2.5 gal. capacity. I was told to use Simple Green Extreme Aircraft cleaner in it as it would not harm the aluminum castings. I mixed it to the strongest ratio listed on the bottle...

John Deere Cast iron Tractor sprinkler

I also have to agree on how great the National Walking sprinkler is. I was tired of dragging the hoses around the yard to water and was getting uneven results. Since an in ground sprinkler system was out of the question I started to look for something else that would work. I found their website...
