Toro Vs. Honda walk behind lawnmowers

I've had my Toro Personal Pace for 4 years now. Purchased it from the local Toro dealer. Serviced every year by them as well. Last week I was mowing and noticed it was getting harder and harder to push. Then the smell of burning rubber. Oh no not good. Dropped it off but with the 2-3 week...

Is the Lisle 24300 Speedy Brake Pad Spreader worth buying?

I use mine a lot. Really like it. but.....if you don't do that many brake jobs then the c-clamp method would probably be best.

    Impact choices

Definitely buy it! I bought that impact last year and I have to say it was one of the best tool purchases I have made in a long time. I work on Light Rail Vehicles (trains) and some of our torque specs get pretty high. My trusty IR231 just wasn't cutting it even after I rebuilt it. This thing is...

    Compressor mounts/floor isolators?

When I mounted my 80 gallon 2 stage SpeedAire compressor to the floor I used these I got from Grainger: Item number 2LVP7 Vibration Iso Pad, 4x4x3/4 In, w/hole. About 8 bucks a piece back in 2009. They work very nicely!

Proto from Amazon = No Warranty

Another tool brand that has no warranty through Amazon is Grey Pneumatic. I was going to buy a large set through my Mac dealer and found the exact set on Amazon for 100 dollars less. Found out through GP that Amazon was not a authorized dealer and no warranty would be in effect. They did say...

    Snap-On Mid-Rise Automotive Scissor Lift - N GA

I have this exact lift and love it! Great for those garages with low ceilings where a conventional lift won't fit. I've done engine/trans removals on FWD cars with it with great success. Definitely worth having.

    Whalen Storage Workbenches, shelving units

Hi All! I was thinking of asking for the Whalen mobile workbench and was curious about the height of the work surface. Our Costco has it up on a high shelf and I can't get to it easily. Would anyone who owns one be willing to give me a measurement from floor to the top of the butcher block...

How many of you have 2 stage compressors?

I have a Speedaire 7.5 HP 80 gallon 2 stage I picked up off Craigslist for $500 a couple of years ago. Finally have it bolted down on it's isolators in the garage and hooked up to electric. Now I just have to run the air lines around the garage. It would be nice to actually use it for once...

I too have the Snap On driver set. Other than breaking one tip, it has performed flawlessly. I've been using it every day for the past month on a project at work. Has help up to the constant hammering it's been getting. I purchaced the set with all the bits and it was pricey but worth it in my...
