the Nepros brand hand tool thread

I ended up cleaning out the super line and threw in some of my chain oil instead. Seems to be working fine. It’s odd the super line worked very well for the 1/4 drive. For reference this is what I used: Thanks for the help

the Nepros brand hand tool thread

It binds both ways. I used a small amount of super lube. Didn’t seem to bother the 1/4”.

the Nepros brand hand tool thread

I tried re lubricating my 3/8 nepros ratchet and ran into an issue. The mechnism Seems to bind, but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Can anyone here help me spot what I need to do? I didn’t use all that much lube. I did my 1/4 drive before this without issue.

Yeah, they aren't a problem. Just kind of annoying. I guess I can look at upgrading one of these days. Thanks

    Torque vs Angle Recording tool

Thanks I’ll check the crane out. I need to record the torque vs angle to see if I get a change in slope that could indicate yielding. Recording it at the end won’t be enough in this case.

    Torque vs Angle Recording tool

Thanks! Looking at their website it seems like the DT series does recording, but it doesn't mention angle. Do they have a USA distributor? Their website is difficult to navigate and find more details.

    Torque vs Angle Recording tool

I was wondering if anyone knew of some off the shelf tools that could record torque vs angle and output the curve to a csv or some other file for analysis. Most torque wrenches I know of only display live readings or peak readings.

    Flush Mount Mid-Rise Scissors Lift

Looking to be able to remove the engine and trans from a Porsche 911, work on some FWD vehicles and such (basic maintenance and trans removals). I would also like to be able to do some rinseless detailing on the lift to make it easier to reach lower portions of the car/wheels etc. I looked at...

    Flush Mount Mid-Rise Scissors Lift

Thanks AC-WC. That's a good point. 10CFM seemed like a lot. If i had to get a compressor something like a pancake or a small 5 gallon tank I can fill up from time to time would be ideal. I'll shoot them a message and see what they say.

    Flush Mount Mid-Rise Scissors Lift

Yeah, I was just looking and saw that. A 10 CFM compressor is rather large typically isn't it? Although 50psi isn't that high so perhaps something a bit smaller would work.

    Flush Mount Mid-Rise Scissors Lift

I had been assuming these were electric over hydraulic and that the air on most of them was for actuating the locks. Is that in correct?

    Flush Mount Mid-Rise Scissors Lift

I'm looking to get a mid rise scissors lift installed in my 3 bay garage with low (8') ceilings. I want it to be flush mounted so I can easily been driven over and parked on when not in use/not become a tripping hazard. I'm looking for open access to the center of the vehicle as well. I've got a...

    Tools of Japan

Sorry, I should've clarified. I'm able to see them, but they don't ship the US direct anymore. I just used an address in Japan to see what could be bought via proxy. I was able to order koken stuff earlier in the year direct to the US via amazon, but I guess this goes through cycles.

    Tools of Japan

Thanks. I was reading earlier in this thread and on the Amazon reviews that people had issues with them fitting and holding European car e-torx bolt heads. Do you know of any good Japan only online retailers I should look at? I usually only check Amazon Japan.
