    Cornwell double flare tool

I have not had any luck making consistent even double flares with that style of tool, regardless of brand. After fooling with multiple brands and styles of flare tools, I ended up buying the Mastercool flaring set and it works great, perfect flares every time.

    Snap On Torque Wrench Problem

Are they covering shipping? I have a 3/4" tq wrench that binds a little while turning the dial, but not to the point where I cannot turn it. It was like that new.

Need the longest made 17 mm Box Wrench

Keep in mind, with the torque adapter, you will have to dial down the tq wrench in order to achieve 100ftlbs due to the extra length added by the adapter.

    Knipex 8" long nose

I'm pretty sure that's what I was using. My good old Armstrongs got the job done that day.

    Knipex 8" long nose

Knipex makes pretty good stuff, but their needle nose pliers are one of the tools of theirs that I've used and I was less than impressed. If you try to twist anything with some force, they will twist right along with it. If you are doing delicate work only, they should be fine.

    A snap on ratchet question

You may as well pick yourself up a dual80 ratchet now before you buy a bunch of the older models, THEN pick up a dual80 and decide to build a set of them.

Need the longest made 17 mm Box Wrench

Box end torque adapter should work great and you will be assured the bolt is torqued properly.

    First Williams USA experience

Really surprised the cman held up. Do you have a pic of said socket? I'm curious to see what era it is.

Double Open End Wrench Set Uses?

Kinda a silly question, but what are you guys using them on? The only thing I can see would be for hydraulics, and the every day stuff where you can't get a boxed end or socket on. Reason for asking is, I recently bought some stuff from a local guy and he had a nice large oe wrench set, he...

How is the coating on the high visibility wrenches? Is it a paint or powdercoat, or something else?

    SO Locking Flex Opinions

How are the locking mechanisms on the SO ratchets? I have a set of Armstrongs, I've never had my hands on a SO to try them out, curious how well it works compared to the armstrong/matcos. Thanks fellas!

    Snap On S832

How are the mechanisms in the old 832 ratchets? There's a local guy with a nos s832 for a decent price that I was considering. When I think of a course tooth ratchet, I always think of a clunky 36t cman, how,do the SO compare?

    OEM for Snap On Stripper/Crimper?

I'd be willing to bet these are made by SO. Most of the stripper/crimpers are stamped out of sheet metal, where these are forged. I bet they are pretty comfy too.

    Anyone Using Goldenrods?

They rate the 36" model for 500 cuft. My cabinets should be around 48 cuft.

    Anyone Using Goldenrods?

I am going to build some heavy duty steel cabinets for the garage to store some tools and equipment in, dimensions will be roughly 6' tall 2' deep and 4' wide. Will a goldenrod work ok to keep moisture out of something that size? Thanks!
