Not a typical tool, but a tool none the less 🙂. Brings back childhood memories.

Darn mice in my Vidmar cabinets

That's a neat picture! Is that the owl that wound up dying from poisoning?

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Of course they went straight in the trash, haha. Also, according to GJ tradition, I installed it with different fasteners than what came with it. 😁

    One massive workbench?

I'm 6'7" and built my work bench for my comfort at 30" deep and 44" tall. Those dimensions are nearly perfect for me, but if I had a chance to do it again I would have built it 36" deep. I am nowhere near extended when I reach to the back receptacles, so if your a "tall" guy then you will be...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Installed a folding shelf on the side of my work bench. I might rarely use it, but there WILL be a time when I need a few extra square inches of space to place things while I'm working.

Why don't you put the piston at TDC and manually turn the cam to see if the valve touches the piston?

Snap-on low profile spark plug socket

I still have my 96 TA. The spark plugs were truly a PITA with stock exhaust manifolds.

Snap-on low profile spark plug socket

If you really wanted to, you could put a 5/8 deep socket on top of the low profile one and put a ratchet on the deep socket just fine.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Put a new fridge in the shop as well. With fall around the corner, I started a little pre-stocking. I like darker beers, and fall only makes them tastier. 🍻

I have a hard time letting stealerships anywhere near my vehicles as well. Kudos to you for doing your own work.

Show me (And discuss) your toolbox organizers...

For my primary sockets, extensions, and ratchets, I use the same trays my Milwaukee tools came in. When I need to pack them for a field job, they go right into a packout box in the same trays, so they are always organized. My primary wrenches are roughly organized by with awrench tray set...

I dont often go to Harbor Freight, but I crushed a magnetic tray and I needed to pick up a new one. Harbor Freight is generally the cheapest with these, so I swung by and wound up carrying out quite a few more supplies than I intended. Unbeknownst to me when I left the house, I also wanted a...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I purchased and installed a new shelving unit from Home Depot. I'm not sure if I like the red or not, but its here long term, so I better learn to love it.

I swear somebody comes in and superglues the bits into the trays when I'm not looking. IRRITATING!!!

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I have had them for a few years, but I find myself reaching for a combination wrench far more often than the ratcheting flex heads. When you need them, and actually have them, its super nice and you'll be glad to have them, but I find myself not needing their specialty purposes as often as I...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

As far as function, they function the same as any other flex head. The small details is where they shine, and where a tool pusher will notice the difference. The 2.5 degree arc swing is tight, and the open end side has their "Max-Bite" design which works extremely well. You really have to...
