Look at doing a cloth pocket or something that you can attach to the front.

Not sure if you measured the original but try to put the MAF the same distance from the throttle body as the old one.

What about a metal visor instead? Maybe that's not the right word, but I could think of something squared off with dimple dies or something in it, not round like they do on the 50s cars. You could even make a different shape like a V where's is deeper in the middle.

A stick is a manual transmission. I think probably 95% of cars in Europe are manual transmissions, not automatics. For these years of Fiestas and Focuses, Ford created a new dual clutch automatic transmission called the powershift. These transmissions have had a high failure rate and there's...

I think you're lucky that in England most of those should have a stick in it. There's a class action lawsuit over the automatics going on right now here.

I don't think 4 and half hours is even enough time to check the place out. I think that when we did it you had to pick a start time since there was a guide that went with you to each area. Other places we stopped at along 80 were the Union Pacific Golden Spike Tower...

I'm not sure what he'll pull out of the Miata, but with no drive train it sounds like if he keeps it around it could be the next project with some kind of a swap. I'm not real familiar with the years but some guys over here are putting the Duratec 2.5 into them.

I don't know if Miata are as popular over there as here, but they've gone crazy in prices around here.

Can you guys get POR15 over there? That'd be my suggestion, there's a few others like it as well.

I've always referred to that as a rag joint. Is it riveted in? You can probably replace with bolts if you want. On my g-body, I replaced the factory steering shaft that has a rag joint with a steering shaft from an XJ jeep that had a universal instead. It's adjustable length, might work in...
