1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

What little (very little) I know I learned at http://ecomodder.com/forum/aerodynamics.html. Some basic outlines on that site. Geared toward better mpg but the results can help the 1/4 times too. :3gears:

    Laid down compressor -now what?

Other than check oil is there anything I should do or check? I had to lay it down as it was a get it now or never free 80 gallon Lowes compressor. So I am concerned about oil seeping into the tank and/or into the air lines. Its been sitting upright now for months. Thoughts? (just see the top...

    The repurposing thread

Good idea, however no ID# we already contacted the manufacturer. Could take it to a locksmith but its got a fair amount of corrosion from old batteries. Its safe days are behind it. With me anyway. :)

    The repurposing thread

About to toss an old safe in the scrap heap. No code to open it. Older version of this.... http://www.sentrysafe.com/Products/288/DH-074E_Digital_Depository_Safe_ Other than adding wheels and making a base for a grinder stand I got nothing. Not going to use much of my limited energy thinking...

Over the top goodness. By chance do you recall your first project? Love the idea of blending fab and art, I'm not particularly skilled at either. (wannabe) Thanks for the pics!

One of my 1972 IH Scouts

I tend to spend most my drive time with talk radio, however I need a break and enjoy a nice sound system. I don't have high end tastes but am curious what if you have too much or too little airspace. less boom, more boom? Distortion? One other thing (if you don't mind) since my OEM system in my...

    Nonhog Garage

The 54 panel never made it home. Somebody else wanted it. For once I made the right decision. LOL. In between enjoying the outdoors, hiking and exploring GhostTowns, I did get a replacement hood for the Bertone which I have slowly getting to bare metal.

    Layed compressor over, what now?

Thanks guys! My main concern is oil in the air (or how to avoid that) Its been upright for months. It blew a capacitor and work tossed it. I figure its worth the price of a capacitor to see if its a keeper.

    Layed compressor over, what now?

I'm a bit concerned that when I drug home a free 80 gallon compressor it may have seeped oil into the cylinders or the tank? Should I be worried? What steps should I take to make it right? just see the top of it
