Shed roof, really don't see them much outside of custom home neighborhoods. Ours is the only one in my area that I know of. Grid is handy but I need to invest in more hangers. Still have a few sections I'm needing to use.(instead of store) I did use a section on my roof rack build on my camp van.

My shop (link in sig.) is in the front yard, therefore we spent bunches more than if I put it in the side yard. Back yard septic and creek ruled out that. At the time we were thinking it'll be our last house. Now not so sure? The investment is in the use while owned not the resale.

I'm not saying the fire risk isn't real but its plenty hard (for me) to light OSB on fire. Use your own judgment and make yourself at ease with your choice. I personally use sheet rock near where I grind and weld. OSB on ceiling and maybe someday walls? this link is only meant to be thought...
