Why don’t US tool manufacturers put “Made in [city, state]” anymore?

If it's the Company name it's OK. Anything else would or could be interpreted as Country of Origin. And the country of origin labeling dates back into the 180s in the US. Customs guy are not stupid. It has been around for THOUSANDS of years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country_of_origin

Worse country for manufacturing hand tools

Page after page of misinformation. When I was a kid junk tools came from Britain, when I was in my 20s junk tools came from the US. Junk tools are poor quality and don't last. Asia could produce tools cheaper and LOCAL RETAILERS put them on their shelf for their budget customers (YOU). The...

    Garage only on vacant lot

HERE, there is no way to build a garage/shed/barn only without a house. If you walk into the county and say you want a garage they will say NO, but if you say you want to build a building to store a tractor and other stuff they will go SURE.

I used to do a lot of ball joints. I lusted after the Snapon ball joint remover, but it was stupid expensive. On GJ someone who's a rural guy in Saskatchewan was talking about Tiger's solution. You use this special C Clamp and you use your own sockets to adapt to the different sizes. Really...

What tool for a lady to remove tight lug nuts?

My experience is there ready to take your yearly membership money. They are hard to find when you actually need them - 'We'll be there in about 4-5 hours, it's an unusually busy today'

Question about pouring Concrete pad for existing garage

Are you going to pour concrete under the garage? I don't see an amount for lifting. They are not that heavy and for the future the structure will last longer.

Apex is bigger than a breadbox. Apex Tool Group has over 20 factories globally, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Taiwan, China, and South America.
