I worked for about an hour and got the radiator out and a few lines disconnected and labeled, intake off, and the power steering lines to make a big mess and ******* and out of the way. What a difference a lift and not working outside make!

Depends on your definition of cheap. I'd look for a 94 or 95. 94/95s have the 1.8 and optional torsion diff but still obd1 and relatively light. Torsion is about 750$ or more to add afterwards so it's worth 4k ish to find a nice 94/95 with it

Supposedly, I may have a big update tomorrow afternoon! The lift folks are arriving at noon.

Finally got around to putting the cabinets up. They're not exactly lined up how I want them and will require some fine tuning but at least they are up! I also put up my hands free paper towel dispenser to the left. Planning ahead for my sink installation underneath it.

Got this other cabinet put together. The plan is to have them up tomorrow and figure out some sort of backsplash/guard for the wall behind the work area.

It's a weird little cubby hole that's essentially under the interior stairs. It's completely sheet rocked so I've been using it for Christmas and summer 'stuff' storage. If it keeps non car stuff out of the garage I'm a happy camper

My friend came over and we put my new foldable workbench together. Getting the masonry anchors in was the toughest part. A few beers later and a second trip to Hone Depot and we had it in. It's extremely sturdy and well built, and best of all it will allow me to park the miata next to the lift...
