I enjoy the discount I get through Matco tools for being an educator in a community college tech ed program. I teach a few machining classes in the evenings aside from my 'real' job, enjoy the heck out of it, and get a really good discount on some of the tools I use to boot. Can't beat helping...

Craftsman literature says they are 84 teeth, which makes sense... How do you make an 84.5 tooth ratchet? :wtf:

I used the term 'pro' since this is what Sears calls them, and was merely to distinguish which wrenches I was refering to. My guess is the polish definitely added to the popularity, as well as a more ergonomic design (thinner) and a longer pattern. Yep, they are not a $325 set of Flank Drive...

I think my biggest frustration will come when it's time to warranty some of my pro polished wrenches, screw drivers, flare wrenches etc. I paid a premium, albiet not tool truck prices, for a nice set of matching, quality tools. Perhaps if I break one, the whole set will be returned since...

Both of my orders showed up as canceled due to a web order and the other showing as out of stock. Hope the refund comes quick; I have had issues with that in the past.
