There's still a decent amount of deals on there to be had if everything stays true. Some include IR impact sockets, Sunex impact sockets, SK ratchets, etc. Most are in the 8-15 dollar range, though some are still high.

wow their prices on the makita stuff is insane. HIGH that is $400 + on just a 18V lion drill

Not on everything. I just ordered two LXT7L kits at... $37.05 each.

I'm hoping they bought the inventory of a failed brick and mortar store for _dirt_ cheap and are unloading it all fast (makes the end-of-year books look good).

Being that there was limited quantities there might be hope for us after all.

I only spent $315. These items came up at $1343 retail when searching online.

We can only pray to the tool gods now. It's out of our hands.

Seems like dreaming about what happens when you win the lotto.

yeah I got tired of looking after a while. So I checked out, I think we all know how this will turn out

Wesco looks like a drop ship company being run out of a residence, not that there is anything wrong with that, but it doesn't lend itself to the theory that they bought out some other company's inventory and got great deals which they are passing along to us. I'm betting on website glitch followed by email cancellations to all of us.

Might be run out of a residence, but Manta says almost $1M in annual revenue with a staff of 2. I would not bet against him dumping some inventory he picked up somewhere. The quantities were limited and it's spread out across a bunch of brands and there are many normal prices on those same brands in the same categories.

I'm an optimist, if you can't tell. :)

EDIT: for what it's worth, I bought about $270 worth of stuff. If I'd have bought it from Sears tonight, it would've been $2408. If it comes true, it's like winning the lottery. :)

Way too crazy, no point to make them that cheap crazy.

1 of: Mastercool, Inc 91580A 1.5 CFM Portable Vacuum and Electronic Charging Station [Misc.] $35.77

Mastercool is a top brand, this is complete system with gauge set, vacuum pump, and electronic scales, its like 5% of normal $700 price and all sorts of similar prices are on other AC stuff.

Having a hard time not going back for a couple more items. ;)

It's going to take him days to deal with all of our orders (or refunds). Interestingly, I saw at least one item that had been listed at an equally low but not the same price (difference of a couple of dollars and change) yesterday. That's part of the reason I'm hoping he's just dumping some stuff.

If it's all amiss, he's probably going to take a hit on reviews. The worst time to jerk our chains is when we're holiday shopping. I for one won't shop there again if it's a mistake. Why would I trust any of his pricing ever again if I bought 20 items across brands and categories and the prices were wrong on all of them?

I've gotta wonder though... did anyone pay for buysafe bonding?

Not sure what that buysafe thing is; I purchased through amazon... Guessing they would have our backs by default if there's an issue with refund...

website is clearly messed up. When i went to it the first time I was logged in as someone else with 2 items in my cart. It had a general error on the mainpage and not searchable.

You don't think that's overly harsh? All this could well be an honest mistake, and it would be a shame to see what seems to be a viable business shut its doors over something like this. Like I said, if these orders get cancelled I'll be disappointed but not surprised.

Are people really going to give bad reviews if their order doesnt ship? Something is clearly wrong and we all know it.

Wow, I shouldn't have gone to bed last night and missed out on all this drama. I wish you all luck. Amazon sent me a bunch of free Dremel stuff last week. Then again, nothing compares to the free orange box. You just never know.

Anyone leaving negative feedback or deciding not to shop somewhere is only hurting themselves. Many will read negative feedback with a grain of salt. If there is enough compelling positive feedback, I tend to give negative feedback even less weight.

I’m not saying don’t do it, but be honest. If you don’t get an item that was most obviously a pricing mistake, posting negative feedback really is going to gain anyone anything.

I should have stayed up later, but I'm skeptical that those are real deals. An honest pricing oversight by someone. If not, that is the deal of the year.

Both of my orders showed up as canceled due to a web order and the other showing as out of stock. Hope the refund comes quick; I have had issues with that in the past.

Amazon doesn't let you leave feedback on cancelled orders. (seems fair to me) Everyone should have known this was too good to be true. However nothing ventured/nothing gained!!

Kinda smells like that. I can't seem to pull them up on the web by their name. Its real easy for someone to copy paste a website.

I doubt it. Wescotools domain is registered to William Cope of Youngsville, PA. The phone # associated with it is the same number that Amazon has for customer service. It's a drop ship shop run out of a residence. Guy probably had a screw up with the database, and everything got marked down.

I doubt we'll see any of the tools ordered, but there was nothing nefarious about it.

I know that area code on their phone number and it isn't too far from me. I might have to go kick somebody's *** if they cancel all the orders.

I agree. I'm expecting a canceled order too but figured I'd give it a try. I'm not going to leave him negative feedback if the pricing was a mistake. The site has good reviews so it seems like a legitimate business. He states in his terms and conditions that he can cancel orders for pricing errors so he's protected if the pricing was a mistake. The guy may have pulled the site until he discovers why his number of orders skyrocketed last night.
