    Help with internet for shop

The great thing with this equipment is there is no programming. Just plug the network cables in, plug in the power injector, aim the antennas, and done.

    Help with internet for shop

This is how we send our network at my office (which is spread out over 3 protected historic cottages, so digging trenches and drilling holes wasn't an option). With the power injectors, they have enough signal strength to travel through walls about 200' away. We use the Tranzeo TR-902 antennas...

    Antenna help

Ever since Sirius and Pandora came out, I never listen to AM/FM anymore. Sirius makes a portable unit that docks with a boom box. I have one with the small satellite antenna run outside so it has clear view of the sky. Works great, and no commercials. If you're a smart phone user and like...

    Determing Reinforced Concrete

Don't know if this will help, but here is a picture of the most exposed portion of the foundation due to the soil grade. Don't mind the shorter pad to the left, I just poured that as the start of my compressor shed.

    Determing Reinforced Concrete

It's possible that pouring of the slab was the only thing done right since it's not something he could have done himself. It definitely has footings, probably 12" or more. I'll post a picture of the most exposed edge once I get home. You can also see the impressions on the floor from where...

    Who do you trust.....

I don't loan my tools to anyone. Instead, I offer full use of my shop, while I'm home, for the cost of a 6 pack of beer.

    Determing Reinforced Concrete

After purchasing my home, I have realized that the previous owner liked to do things his way, which may or may not mean they were done properly. I've observed numerous instances of things he built or "fixed" that were done on the cheap. The detached shop building is, as far as I'm aware...

    220V Compressor Wiring

Sorry, misspoke on that one. It is a 20a circuit. The 50a is powering my stick welder.

    Wiring an outdoor dog house

My dog lives outside but I built her a sweet dog house out of a re-purposed sauna. Where do you live? I can't imagine needing to pull permits to run an exterior conduit line.

    220V Compressor Wiring

My desire to switch to 220 was just for load balancing. My shop has it's own sub-panel and the startup on 110 dims the lights. The compressor is currently wired into a dedicated 50A 220 circuit, just minus one of the hot legs.

    220V Compressor Wiring

This is the only diagram on the motor and all it shows is L1 and L2 connections. It doesn't show any of the other internal connections.

    220V Compressor Wiring

I just got a new belt drive air compressor to help keep up with my new, bigger shop. The compressor is wired for 110V, but everything I've read says it can also be made to run 220V. The problem is I can't find any resources that show how this is done. The wiring diagram on the side doesn't show...
