    Astro Hi-Vis Sockets

That's funny, I was just talking to my Matco dealer. I saw a new ratchet/serpentine set on the truck and I'm like oh, did gearwrench make a new set? He's says no, it's Astro. I'm holding my phone and look it up like, look, Astro doesn't make serpentine sets. He said they make multiple set...

Astro Pneumatic Tool 78244 11Piece 1/2" Drive Nano Pinless Universal Impact Sockets - Metric are these good?

Use the 3/8" set basically every day for the last couple years. No issues yet. My 1/2" Matco set "feel" nicer now, but are also floppier than flap jacks

Digital calipers - something between HF and Mitutoyo?

Don't be surprised by the answers in this thread. Same result each times it pops up 25% People who will only own Mitutoyo saying to buy Mitutoyo because everything under the price range is the same trash 25% People who own the cheapies agreeing because it means their $15 pair work the same as...

    Eastwood HVLP guns???

Eastwood guns are built by the lowest bidder and they've used various sources throughout the years. One is never the same as the next it seems. I swore off touching anything eastwood that is a complex tool that requires tolerances. Their other paint and prep stuff and consumables are great

    Dewalt Honey Badger 2?

Seems like DCF891 will be 612 ft/lbs tightening The DCF894 is like 5 years I think old? No word on when in 2022, but if they were on the UK website already then you'd think not like late 2022

    Fireball tests Dragging a File

Pretty simple solution to painfully in-depth videos, don't watch them and move on. Doesn't make sense to have strongly held opinions about that. And the answer as to why someone doesn't spend thousands of dollars of their own money to build and test tools and equipment, and days of their time...

Does anybody truly like Milwaukee's weird looking square sockets?

That's just silly. Tradesman surely have more access and space than the average mechanic when working on bolts, any of those situations a square drive ratchet would be 10X more useful.

Does anybody truly like Milwaukee's weird looking square sockets?

This. It seems cool, and neat that they are thinking outside of the box when it comes to such a traditional tool to make it their own. But anything you need to turn, in a tight area, hard to improve on a circle. They are cool until you have them next to you and it's all you're using, then...

Petersen Vise Grips still a viable buy

TorqueTestChannel they're like Real Tool Reviews was but without explaining to me how an air fitting or a forward/reverse selector switch works for 50% of every video. With the bonus of Harbor Freight not winning every match up somehow.

Pneumatic Rivet gun, Which one of these is better? Open for other suggestions.

The AP one will do 1/4", so it's a whole other animal as that takes a lot more force. We've been using that PR14 for like 5 years without servicing it. If it was $200 to replace, I think we'd get the same damn one. None of those or that style will do huck in my experience tho
