Hi Dustin.Recently laid a slab for my new garage.I used 1 inch of sand over the ******** to protect the sheeting from punctures,then laid out 1200 guage polythene damp proof membrane.If you have to joins in the membrane,overlap them by at least 12 inches and tape the joint. Hope this helps.
