my shop has a/c and heat now but it used to be fans, wall mounted on three walls two to a wall and wired w/a switch for each two fans so I wouldn't have to climb a ladder to shut them down or turn them on. Even with the a/c it takes no time to cool down in the hot summertime. :beer:

Good decision, mine is done in 5/8 plywood 10 ft. high walls with 4x8 on bottom and 24 inch on top on 30x40x10 polebarn style on slab all 2x6 framing spaced at 24oc. very easy to cut and place and it was all done by self with no helpers, very doable and sturdy. Need to hang a fan just screw it...

Re: what did you do in your garage today? It's awfully hot in Texas at this time of year, so I built platform to hold air handler and duct work down through the center of my 30x40 so I can get A/C install already got unit just need to get everything done. :beer:

I have a drip system which requires no chlorine tablets to be added and every thing is contained underground but Texas does require an inspection and filter clean every 3 months. I guess it depends on what state and metro area you live in, check your county for regulations.

I did my walls with plywood I just couldn't take the looks of the osb. But I didn't buy bc either, just plain sheathing, then primed and put mud in the knots and in some spots that I missed when sorting it at the store.:willy_nil
