Here in Texas, I had a very good experience with a local builder named steelgaragesandshops.com. they built my 30x40 in 8 days. price was a little less than 25000. Built in 2008 and I'm very happy.

I know in Texas where my building is located on the gulf coast, I had a pole style built on a slab already poured and then built the main columns were anchored to the concrete w/simpson ties, pressure treated plate 2x6 wall girt horizontal w/simson ties at each end, 30x40 10 ft. walls same...

That box is amazing, I wish for talent like that but to no avail.

When I had mine built it was quoted price of 19800 for a 30x40 including site work concrete and garage doors 16x8 in front and 8x8 in rear for ventilation and access. also included one 3.0 mandoor and efoil insulation on roof only

If you got termites in the tack strip, wouldn't you be worried about the ones in the wall 3 inches from your strip. If there in the wall you wont need to worry about tack strip for very long. :lol_hitti

I must agree Those two benches are fantastic, twice as good as mine because I don't have one yet. I need a work bench to build a work bench, I hate crawling around on the floor ever since I crawled on the floor :drool:

are you attaching sheets to wood or metal, they make screws especially for wood called wood grip screws

the tag on the motor says that it's a 110 0r 220 switchable the plug is a standard 110 plug so its problably wired 110. the 200 on the tank is the working pressure not capacity. there should be tag that show volume of tank
