Unfortunately no, but the adjustment is very firm so I can't see it slipping very easily.

I haven't ever had great luck with the strap wrenches. It seems like the metal ones only adjust a little and the cloth/rubber ones can be good for PVC and stuff but always seem fiddly. Best bet is to have one of all of them :)

Not sure about the tooth count. I have a couple of other larger torque wrenches but not for delivate work. This one worked very well on my bicycles and also some auto work I did.

That's a good point about the positioning of the strap. I am not a big fan of driving the screwdriver through the filters, I see that online and don't like that personally.

I have had a similar experience, I guess it must lose the structural integrity of the can. They are all so thin nowadays. This wrench definitely equalizes that. On a very stubborn one the teeth started to push in but the filter gave way before that happened.
