Hi Folks – Mission accomplished! Attached are a few pictures. The table top has two coats. Entire table was sanded down to the bare metal, primed with primer and then two coats of yellow by hand paint brush. Thanks to those that guided me.

Wouldn't rock salt cause more harm than good? Sodium Chloride will aid in rapid rusting
