    I honestly would need to see your floor, but the gut is saying you won't need to do ****. It really depends how smooth it is. If it's store polished smooth, then yea, you will need some grip.

    I have 1/8th as well. You can pretty much close the gap if you go rectified edge. But that adds a whole different expense.
