Over the weekend: Changed the oil in the Silverado and the Trax. Then detailed them both, and the wife's trax as well/ Finished welding in a floor patch on the Riviera project.

Gottcha! We have a top loader, never thought about a front loader.

We don't use the cup. Its easy enough to judge how much to put in out of the jug.

Cleaned up, put the camping stuff on the camping stuff shelf. Put the new to me tools on the bench and wondered where the heck I am going to store them....

Put more tools away, got the console out of the Buick and gave it some R&R. Drank a beer (ok 2 beers).

Over the weekend: pulled the bumperettes and front license license plate folder off the '72 Riviera. Changed the oil and front brakes on my wife's car.

Went in, looked at my project car and sighed. Hopefully this weekend I'll get some time...

Starting in 2014 the Rushmore models have liquid cooled heads. The coolant pump is at the bottom of the frame right behind the front wheel. I upgraded the coolant pump on my 2015 and went no where near the fuel tank

I saw one of a guy that takes the gas tank of a Harley to change a coolant pump.

It makes total sense to add those blocks.

Indeed Sir! I appreciated your video and built them the same exact way. My Riviera was a bit more challenging to get on the the cribbing. I have the same jack, but it just wouldn't lift the front end high enough. I used the dreaded and dangerous 4x4 on the jack pad and went real, real slow.

Things were getting a little crazy while working on the project car. I took a night to clean and put ALL of the tools away, and sweep the floor. Now I know where everything is!

Laid the new trunk pan in the project Riviera and realized that I am still going to have to fab at least 2 more panels....
