    Thoughts, Rockwell radial arm saw.

Any idea on the age? Couldn't find anything through google. Worth the work that I'm going to have to put into it? I'm in the market for a mitre saw but saw the versatility of this style. Any opinion is appreciated, thanks

I might be overthinking it I guess. I've been looking for a long time and have read a lot of bad reviews. From every manufacturer I could find.

    Blast Cabinet

In the market for a blast cabinet. My "shop" is a two car garage that holds a car when I'm not working. At first I was set on a bench top model because of space but now I'm thinking about a free standing model. I know if I went with a bench top model I will of course need more work room for the...

The quill bearings came in today. Seem to be nice quality and are actually smoother then the other set I got from my local bearing store. Reassemble went pretty smooth. I had to strip the paint from the inside of the housing in certain spots because I didn't mask them off. I painted the motor...

    Let's see your "patina"!

What do you recommend for a "normal" garage. Dry Central Valley in CA? Periodically wipe down with oil? I'm restoring some tools and want to take care of them.

    Thoughts?

I know its rough but anything can be fixed. The crown label doesn't look like any others I've seen. Google search revealed nothing like it. http://merced.craigslist.org/tls/4924812848.html

Very very true, lol. Got the bearing off. Welded a piece of angle iron and pounded in down an inch or so till the weld broke. The puller was able to finish the job from there. Went down to a local bearing shop and picked up the larger bearings but hit the brakes on the quill bearings. $37.95...
