this is what I used with crimp connectors as that’s the tool I have. If I had the expansion tool, I would have used it.

Automotive wiring kit WITH dispenser box - help needed

Didn’t harbor freight have a rack and wire? Checked my notes (aka tool wish list) and found this: 400 ft wire + wire storage. $39.99 Harbor Freight. 3384/60360

    DIY Hoses

I took a couple of pictures today. One hose that was too big for the 3/4” pex ring and one that it worked perfectly on. The one it wouldn’t work on was a curb find. It had those horrible aluminum fittings so I cut them off for brass.

    DIY Hoses

I‘m not sure about the size hose, but it has worked on all hoses I have tried. It may not work on the **** with aluminum fittings that is sold in the big boxes now, but give it a try and report back if it works or not.

    DIY Hoses

I’ve used the clam shell things or a worm clamp, but my go to now is a 3/4 PEX crimp ring. It won’t work with all hoses, but is way better than a worm clamp.

Here’s the backpack blower. I put on new straps to replace the strap and bungee cord that was in place. Also a new spark plug, return fuel line, air filter, fuel filter, and carb plus new gas/oil. But it still wouldn’t run any better it would still only idle. I’m no expert on small engines...

Sell me on the use of cross peen hammers

I have two, but never use them. One was my grandfathers and the peen side is mushroomed. Unsure how but he was a farmer and was known to do metal work. The other was my step dads. Unsure what he had one for but it was in his truck when the Covid got him.

What kind of tools have you found in the road??

Today’s road find. Besides the obvious road rash, the handle was broken, the tip was really worn, and it probably wasn’t a quality tool when new. But I did get an Echo PB403T backpack blower from my mom yesterday. The straps are broken and the air filter was horrible but it came with 3/4 a...

    Retaining wall

I hope they didn’t pay for that survey as no respectable surveyor would base one off a fence post when there are known pins available.
