Thoughts on this tool box on CL

Looks to be heavy duty, although not that much storage. Side Snappys look real. If it's worth $300 to you, then go for it. I'd ask if seller would "sweeten the pot" with some tools if he's dead set on $300 firm. I mean like LOTS of tools that you want as $300 is pretty steep for what I see...

    Armorclad Floor Install Pics

Looks terrific !!! If you're floor is all dry now, I'd look at bottom door seals to keep out sunlight shown in those pics.

    Roof Pricing Per Sqr

No. Quote was architectural shingles (Tamko). Underlayment were rolls of Ice and Water Dam from Menards. Starter row was roll from Menards that worked slick that went on top of Ice & Water Dam underlayment. Prior roof only had tar paper and there were leaks everywhere that rotted the deck...

    Which air hose is better?

OP . . . . top tier of air hoses are . . . . Rubber (ie Goodyear . . but "heavy"), quality hybrid like Flexilla or BlueBird that are lighter, but still stay flexible. I'll Never, EVER, Never own a PVC hose !! ;) My personal favorites are red rubber that I got at garage sale, then yellow...

    Roof Pricing Per Sqr

^ ^ ^ Varies greatly by region. This was actual quote on my friend's house who had very low pitch 2/12 and included ice & water dam underlayment over entire 33 sq roof. So it was very simple low slope house. Rather than pay roof contractor, I did the roof and it turned out great with...

    (It's) Riding lawn mower time

+1 to look at USED mower to get what you want. Plenty of low hour machines out there where most of depreciation has been "eaten" by the 1st owner. Here's example of diesel Kubota 4-wheel steer for $1,000 on www.auctiontime.com...

    ISO Enco lathe parts ?

Here's an entire 12 x 36 Enco lathe that sold for $1,050 this week. http://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/auction/view?auc=1809073&trackId=1 I was hoping it would stay off people's radar and I had a chance for bargain, but no luck. How do you like your Enco lathe ??

    Roof Pricing Per Sqr

OP . . . if your roof is normal ranch, then $450/sq is highway robbery !! :shocking: I'd say a starting point for "fair" price would be around $250 square . . . that should INCLUDE a certain number of plywood sheets being replaced . . . like 10, then each additional sheet $50 extra for roof...

    Help with old compressor identification...

^ ^ ^ With only 3 HP motor, that older Kellogg would not be worth $500 if it were me. What size tank is that ?? Personally, I'd think $250 would even be stretching it.
