    MaxJax - New vs used

Go for it..., sounds like a good deal especially with the upgraded Hoses and additional 6" risers that are normally $100 extra. Your gonna want the epoxy anchors regardless. Unless your concrete is PERFECT, the pd58's are a hassle.

    MaxJax Important Safety Notice

After you iron out all the QC issues, the maxjax does what its designed to do. They have scaled the quality way down from the beginning. I mean they went from real hand grips to rubber sleeves for grips on the pins that would fall off. Had to silicone them on. The hydraulic fittings........, all...

    Improvements to the MaxJax lift

I dint receive the notice ... Yet. I bought mine the last week of July. So we'll see! I first set it up out side but didn't have the weather to use it, then did some to my garage so I could set it up in there, mounted the pump on the wall, upgraded with longer hoses and better fittings. I...

    Improvements to the MaxJax lift

Re: Wired Remote control! (up only so far) Great idea especially for using motorcycle adaptor. My pump is on the wall away from the posts. What kind of remote and where did you get it. One thing that I didn't understand about your connection was the pigtail. The two wires that come from the...

Ball Joint Press PASS..., although it didn't have the correct receiver tube for my joint. had to do a little fabricating. Serpentine belt tool fail...., unless you drill it and screw or weld the two pieces together. And ball joint separator..., BIG PASS! Great Tool!

Hey Everyone...., hope you all had a great new year! I got my New Omega 91452 creeper today and set it up. If you have a Maxjax, this is the creeper! This thing is a really nice unit for the money. It has spring loaded pins that lock the back rest in three different positions....., a low boy...

MaxJax - unusual problem with dedicated foundation

My pads are 4'x4' 12" deep 4000psi. The contractor I used aerated it without the ********. For this lift, I'm already at overkill. The bolts (holes and anchors) haven't been installed yet still allowing concrete to cure. My original garage floor was 6" deep (sufficient depth) but when I went to...

MaxJax - unusual problem with dedicated foundation

Great Reply...., makes a lot of sense. I think some of us got caught up with making sure the PD58's were set. I continued to torque he columns at 75. My first install was outside. Had new footers poured in he garage so I will be using the epoxy anchors for the majority of my anchors.

Ever do something so stupid you wonder if you should be left unsupervised?

Mine is a simple blunder. Picked up a great deal on a used dishwasher. Installed it...., then wired it. When I flipped the breaker on, it went dead. I checked the wiring, and I couldn't believe what I did. I connected the hot to common and common to hot. I still to this day don't know what...
