    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

Yeah... they shorted me on the O ring that goes into the block at the pump, unless its under the cap, I have to check. They say its a 5/8 O ring..., I bought a whole box and not one looks like the right size. Thanks Alex!

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

Question for you guys! Setting up my pump and reviewing my parts, I noticed that there was no "o" ring on the o- ring fitting on the hose from the pump to floe divider. Is there supposed to be an "0" ring there, or am I missing something, because its no where to be found? Any help would be...

Well, for what its worth..., I have a brand new concrete slab that I had poured for this project and it is beween four and five inches thick. I got seven of the wej-it anchors to bite, but not without upward travel before really locking into the concrete. I used a small piece of pipe and washer...

Started setting up my anchors today and all was going well when 1 out of the 4 I completed started to pull out of the concrete. The othe three solid like a rock. What is typically recommended whn this occurs..., swap out all the wejits for epoxy or just swap the problematic anchor. Any insight...

I agree with the more fittings, more leaks. I think I will run the hoses directly into the columns and put the disconnects at the pump. But this is all great info, just looking or some feedback. I have seen many setups with the the QD's at both sides. Thanks!

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

Well...., here's my story! made my purchase in august and had concrete poured. Today I began checking my parts inventory and was disappointed to find out that the maxjax lift is now only equiped with two quick disconnects for the posts. They have eliminated the quick fittings at the pump. Called...

    MaxJax - Hydraulic Leaks

Thanks Sid! Yeah, I think I'm gonna go straight into the post with a couple of one or two foot lines and then just hold the one foot pieces to the post with a bungee cord when the lift isn't in use. I'll use the 90% elbows at the pump be ause I'm planning on mounting it the wall. I'll keep the...

    Garage Door won't open

I installed garage doors for many years. You can DIY..... Not very hard if its an extension spring, torsion, you need special tools. Have someone help you lift the door to fully opened position then lock the door in place by locking two vise grips onto the track under the bottom sections two...

    MaxJax - Hydraulic Leaks

Hey Sid...., just anther follow up for clarity. Are you saying that you reversed the whole set up and put your quick connects on the pump? I think I would want to do it that way as well. I hope this isn't an annoying question. I have read the install directions but I haven't even un boxed this...

    MaxJax - Hydraulic Leaks

Hey Sid...., thanks for your reply and insight, it sounds like that would be the way to do it and it makes sense to me to hang the hoses on the posts. I did quite a bit of research here before buying the lift and then after getting it all of these red flags started popping up like uneven...

Sears/Craftsman - where do you want to see it go?

I would like to see sears turn around and offer premium quality tools at a fair price. Retail and marketing can be a slick game....., a company such as HF corners the market and sears disappears, much of the retail (consumer pro and non pro) will be taken over by HF. What's next is higher prices...

    Which impact wrench from sears?

I had one of those Campbell Hausfeld guns and it was useless! I upgraded to a Craftsman Model # 19984. It supposedly pumps out 580 bs of torque ands seems to work really well fr what I use it for at home doing my own auto repairs, hasn't failed me yet. The price is right and I think it's on...
