    Beacon Morris BRT-045 Not Working

I have a Beacon Morris BRT-045 heater that will not ignite. I have replaced the gas valve, tried a new ignitor and have tested the pressure switch and will still not ignite. The only other thing I can think of is the control board. Part of the control board is discolored by some resistors...

Our Dream Garage Home. 80×60 Metal Building

I agree with the comments above about the entrance from the garage into the laundry room. Increasing it's size and adding a bathroom would be money well spent. A large mudroom at the entrance is something that I feel always gets overlooked.

    Ceiling Vapor Barrier

I have a question regarding vapor barrier in a garage ceiling. Recently moved to a different house and I want to insulate and heat the garage. Post hole idea

You can go the other route and not dig any holes at all. http://www.pinfoundations.com/ A lot of people are using these in the area for deck footings. We have a high water table with lots of clay. No heaving in the winter.

New garage going up neighbor pitching a fit

It looks good to me. Just keep doing what you are doing and it will probably be fine when it is finished. I know exactly where you are at. You are only about 10 miles away from me. I would like one of those lots with the hangar in the back yard.

    garage door insulation

I used the garage door insulation kits from Lowes and put the foil bubble wrap behind the styrofoam to keep it in place. The stryofoam panels are not as thick as the door. The bubble wrap added more thickness to help keep in place. The only problem I created now is that I get moisture...

    "Loft" Over Garage Door

I built a loft in my garage. Very similar to the photos you posted. I used the threaded rod 4'-0" o.c. to support the front. I used 2x6 framing at 16" on center and 1/2" osb for the floor. The size is 30' x 6'. There is about 5'-2" clear above. I also built a railing with 1" square tubing and...

minimum ft to turn into a 8 ft garage door

I think you would need a minimum of 24 feet from the garage to make the turn. I drew it with some turning software we have at work. I tried to attach the image so hopefully it shows up. The car shown is a little longer than 16'. Hopefully this helps you out.
