I've run across a stainless steel table on casters that I have no need for but was looking and wondering if it would make a good welding table. Anyone used stainless for a welding table?

Look at an Advantage lift, they are on line. I've had mine for about three years now. Installed myself, great customer service and is very easy to Roy to roll around on casters.

I went through the same thing as you are. Big differences are a plasma cutter, worth every dime. Eastwood makes a good one. I also put a lift in to help with the auto work and my restorations. Have fun, outfitting the shop is half the fun.

Regardless of the direction you need to make sure you insulate it. I live in Wise Couture y and my interior temp is usually about 16-18 degrees cooler than outside. I have no AC but oriented the shop so the prevailing winds come through when I open the doors.

I have my drops going to reels about six feet of the floor. I have one open drop at four feet and have to equipment drops at four feet. No water issues.

Many posts on here address this topics. Use the search function and you will find them. I always go with steel first then lower if price limits will be exceeded. In the end I like the strength and reliability of steel over anything else plus you can secure it very easily.

Congrats. We followed the same logic in selecting and while we have different manufacturers, our decision for post was the same.
