Derek Weaver W10-pro Black Label Combo

No. That won't work because the whole cable will turn too. The instructions say to run the lower nut up until there is 1/2" sticking out BEFORE you thread the cable thru. If you need to adjust that amount, you have to undo it so you can pull it out. Not as big of a deal as it sounds, because...

Derek Weaver W10-pro Black Label Combo

I have a Forward I10, but I believe these components are shared. That arm stop would go inside the right rear arm, but it's of no use to you any more because you installed the post with the bracket for the power unit on the left (wrong) side. You may have done it intentionally (as did I), so...

Top Chest for 44” US General series 1 tool chest

Yeah you're right that my dimensions are wrong, it's been a while since I realized the problem, so I was just shooting from the hip. The HF chest is a 41 3/8" wide, & my lower is 41" exactly, I have a 26" chest on it now. It is actually a Napa box that's 25 years old so I'm assuming its a...

    Ghostshield 8505 Vs. 8510

Well I would be more than happy with "hours to days", but myself & others have had a different experience. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=450398&highlight=Ghostshield

Are nail plates normally used on 2x6 walls?

From what I've seen on TV, "normal" construction techniques are often not used in Alaska anyway. So I'm not sure what you'd gain from any responses here.

Top Chest for 44” US General series 1 tool chest

Yes. I originally bought it to put on top of my 44" Waterloo, not realizing that's actually 43 1/2" wide. So it's been waiting in my attached garage for me to finish my shop & decide to upgrade my lower. I'm considering getting a wider lower and not using a top chest because I'd have to remove...

Can you add a Hay loft style hoist with trusses?

Not sure if this helps you but I have scissor/attic trusses & installed a length of barn foot track with a hoist on a door trolley. I think the lowest rating of each component was 220lbs. So far the heaviest thing I hoisted up is a LS engine block. Sent from my iPhone using The Garage Journal...

    Car covers?

Masking plastic is good for keeping fallout off of cars and car covers. A 400' roll is only $30, throw it out & cut off a new length when its dirty or after the storage season. No need for heavy plastic.

Agree, but a couple of times I needed something dead straight I just shaved the thickness of the hanger off the ends the board.

Thermodynamics of a external water chiller

I think this is worth a try. Seems the simplest solution. Maybe use a couple trays that distribute the water across humidifier panels. If it works, I declare Bert a genius. If it doesn't, I'd try American Locomotive's idea of encasing the coil in plastic for better saturation.

    Caulk Drywall To Sill Plate?

What gaps are we talking about? Looks like it's the standard 1/2" clearance, and the sill plate would be 1 1/2 ", so it still overlaps by 1". I'm not understanding where the critter intrusion, drafts, ect. would come from. I'd just do whatever you need to do to make you happy about the way it...
