    Garage Cabinets and Organization

I went with Gladiator 30" units and have been very happy with them. You can get them on sale for around $90-100 a few times a year from Sears. Black Friday will probably be the next time they go on sale again.

QuickJack Portable Lift - Setup, Use, Review

Were the pinch welds bent from using a lift or a floor jack? I know they can possibly fold over with a floor jack because a floor jack does not lift straight up but rather in an arc. If the floor jack doesn't move on its wheels the way it's supposed to, you can bend the pinch weld. The Quickjack...

QuickJack Portable Lift - Setup, Use, Review

It's available and some have it already. I placed my order back on Sept. 29th, but they had some production delays with the hydraulic cylinders. ETA is not late November.

Cheapest place for Milwaukee M18 2763 high torque impact?

Amazon is not as great as many people think they are. If you read up on their actual business practices you'll see that a lot of manufacturers refuse to sell on Amazon or authorize their products for sale on Amazon. What you end up with are gray market products with no manufacturer's warranty...

Cheapest place for Milwaukee M18 2763 high torque impact?

I like it so far and haven't found anything that it won't remove/loosen. It's turning out to be a major addiction though as I've found the Milwaukee tools to be so well made and love their performance. I started out with just their M12 Fuel 3/8" and M18 Fuel compact 3/8" impact wrenches and...

Cheapest place for Milwaukee M18 2763 high torque impact?

Zoro doesn't show up on Milwaukee's authorized online retailer list, unless they are a B&M shop as there aren't any Zoro's in the NJ area. So if warranty is your concern as the OP stated, I would think twice before buying.

Cheapest place for Milwaukee M18 2763 high torque impact?

Best advise would be to wait if you can. Black Friday is just around the corner and they usually offer specials like a free battery, free bare tool, or 10-20% off. I picked up my 2763 at Home Depot earlier this month on a special at Home Depot where you buy 2 bare tools and they gave you a...

My BL-5000 isn't shipping until the end of October so hopefully they've resolved these issues by then, but if not, thank you both for posting up your fixes.

QuickJack - for those of you wondering

For those of you that got the Quickjack recently, did you have to pressurize the air canisters on the side of the hydraulic pistons? I seem to recall that as being a step early on, but in the directions I had Bendpak send me the other day, there is no mention of this step. I have a BL-5000...

    3/8" drive impact recommendations?

The M12 fuel or M18 fuel compact are great. I've actually got both as well as the high torque M18 fuel 1/2" impact and I don't even bother starting up my compressor when I go to work on the car anymore. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

    4 1/2" angle grinder

I picked up a Milwaukee M18 Fuel 4.5/5" angle grinder the other day. It's a paddle switch unit. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, just mounted up a metal grinding disc to it over the weekend. Got it as part of a deal HD was having where you buy 2 M18 Fuel bare tools and you get a...

    Framing nail length

So I have been researching building codes for a shed project that I hope to do next summer and I've got a question I'm hoping someone here can answer. I'm in NJ and according to the codes that I've read for my area, I'm supposed to use 3-1/2" galvanized framing nails when framing. The issue...

    Framing nailers

I just picked up a Porter Cable FR350b from Home Depot for $99 when they were doing their contractor special last week. It's sufficient for a DIY'er as I intend to use it for a shed and basement refinishing in the future. Not sure how important the depth adjustment is as I haven't had a chance...
