Do you use water based epoxy as primer or 100% solids for the prime coat?

Interesting. I have black basecoat under my glitter but inside my house i plan on doing over 2k sqft white in the future so would you suggest i could pour 100% epoxy then do a layer of white polyurea? Im not a fan of just polyurea inside my house cause it is so thin and will not hide small...

You could epoxy then put polyurea top coat i did my glitter floor like that. 330 sqft per gallon

Polyurea drys fast! Def not a do it your selfer product. Its expensive but the most durability! I top coated my glitter floor with it 5 months ago still no scratches or anything looks perfect like the day i did it. Ill be doing all white floors in my house. Im gonna prime coat it first...

Im an epoxy contractor so i own a planetary machine.....i used a polyurea top coat its really durable and can take on most stuff no prob and will last way longer than a urethane. Also thank you. I try and do a good job ��

No i did not. I used 100% epoxy @ 150 sqft per gallon for the broadcast coat

Have a customer wants a flake floor. He has a big boat and The salt water has eaten up is concrete. I couldn't find anything about polyurea vs salt water how it would hold up. Anybody dealt with this?

Go with polyurea and you won't have any problems!

Yea deff i use 10% xylene with polyurea. Also if they dont saturate the roller first it could roll uneven.

Yep i just did 400sqft polyurea top coat in the florida heat with one other guy. We both had to move at a fast pace as i broomed out the polyurea he back rolled i edge rolled then final back roll. I think using the broom helps alot vs a squeege cause its 36 inches wide and leaves just enough...

Why so long to cure? I can walk on epoxy in 12 hours
