What are good spare bolts nuts washers to keep for car work?

<<<Angle Grinder! Thread a nut on first, cutting disc to cut it to length, flap disc to chamfer the cut end slightly, and winding the nut off cleans up the thread.>> Don't! Just buy stainless screws, nuts and bolts on eBay.

Buying a Menards Battery Charger. Help Please

My son works at Menards and I can get a discount on a battery charger. I would like a robust one that can charge batteries in motorcycles, cars, trucks, and what not. I have some low amp ones connected to motorcycles but I want a larger conventional battery charger ... Here are the choices...

Building kitchen cabinets/built-in cabinets, what tools do I need?

The first day I showed up at the cabinet shop, a place I would work for seven years, I was ready to geek out on routers and plunge depths and dados and rails .. the guy who trained me in cut to the chase and said "It's a box. Don't overthink it."

How are motorcycle instruments crimped together? How to re-crimp them?

We've been through the gamut of trying to repair the rings on old Kawasaki speedometers and tachs for the last 15 years. Welding, gluing, soldering, etc. Nothing works, hence my question about a small round shaped press.

How are motorcycle instruments crimped together? How to re-crimp them?

Wow! I have not seen one with the bags ... pretty much ever but for sure not in 40 years. Wonderful old Yamaha. Good job on bringing it back. Of course you know that bike will probably bring upwards of $28 million bucks on that Bring a Trailer (of cash) auction site.

    going start sellng my tool

I lend tools out. For a while I'd buy any cheap tool at a garage sale. I keep them in a different box in a different garage and those are the ones that I lend out most of the time. Most of the time they come back.

Will Craftsman Warranty These Old Hex Sockets?

No. That they have fallen out, with the circlip, over the years. So the tool has failed. See, when I bought these, THIRTY YEARS AGO they had a lifetime warranty. I had other ones I could use, but put these in a drawer for a mass return some day. I threw them away this afternoon. "made in...

    Best, cheap bench drill press?

I'd like to get a new, small bench drill press. Initially I'd like to use it to drill holes in small bolts and nuts for safety wire. Any recommendations? I'd like a designated unit, not one that uses a drill or a dremel.
