If framing/trusses are just a little off/not 90deg/plumb etc I would make effort that the ends land between studs and use a scrap piece as backing as long as the osb is not structural. That way you also only see factory edges in the field. Not that I have ever done that with osb but doing that...

This is what I did in my first major remodel in 2015 in climate zone 7 with green zip panels. During another more recent remodel I removed some of it and I did not find any issues with it. One new part was done with rockwool which was not faced so fingers crossed.🤪

Not sure where the OP lives just that in my neck of the woods electrical work needs a permit but a home owner can pull their own permits. Used to that you have to pass a test to do so but the people kept complaining that it was too difficult so they ditched the test.

Yes, I lived a long time in Germany where Gardena is a household name and my family and me used them with no problems. They make all sorts of garden related products and I just got my girlfriend Gardena shears and they look good too.
