I just used mine last night since buying it earlier in the week for the $111 price. It worked amazingly well for my intended purposes of ripping plywood. Best part is no cord getting stuck on the ends!

I like to see the blade too, however, for $111 I am willing to try it out. My older plug in style has blade on the right side too. Any precision cutting that I am doing will likely have a guide setup so it's irrelevant.
