FYI - I bought one of these about 2 weeks back. The standoff was useless, in fact, probably from another Chinese model rolling out of the same factory. It was maybe 1 mm shorter than the ceramic tip of the cutting torch. I sent them (Lotos) an email, and they are sending me two in the mail...

Can you post up the plugs/receps that you found? I'd like to do the same. I got one at Home Depot to adapt it to 110v, but frankly it was a little small for the wire gauge that comes on the cutter....

I'm still holding out for the fuel versions.... I'll let you know if it's worth it or not! :beer:

Yep, I looked yesterday and it was significantly more expensive, so it's likely they are price matching Newegg. I also could not discern if it was the 2015 or 2016 model. No sales tax for me with Newegg, and I got a shipment notification in under 24hrs. Exciting!

Who knows what their supply chain really looks like. But, at any rate, it's a pretty highly regarded cutter, even going back to reviews from 2011. I think it would probably only continue to be refined and improved. At any rate, I'm looking forward to getting it shortly!

I really wish HF made 2 simple changes which, IMHO, would make even more of a killing than they currently do: 1. 2 full length drawers, 1 being 4" tall like they have now, and 1 being 2" tall right below that. Or even 2 4" tall as a compromise would be just fine. 2. 2" or even 4" deeper would...
