I strongly dislike YouTube for finding tool deals. Ads, 10+ min videos, for what could be conveyed in 30 seconds. I’d prefer to go to the same source these guys find deals: ToolGuyD (Stu is a member here) or SlickDeals

I think a big portion of it is the trade tariffs. Most of the restrictions happened last year. Harbor Freight sees sales as the least impactful profit boost they can make. I’m curious if things will ever “go back” or if they are gone for good.

I have the XSH03Z (DHS680 outside US) and I really like it. It’s smaller, but I’ve had no issues with 2x and sheet goods. It’s one of their models that frequently comes in higher end kits.

FYI, I used the 30% off sub-$20 items today. It did not automatically apply with my club membership. A manager had to apply a discount per item, which took about 15 min at the register. Be sure to ask if it applied to sub-$20 items.
